Cookies are small files the site stores on your device to remember you between pages and visits. This policy says which ones we use, why, and how you control them.

1. Three groups

We use essential cookies, without which the site does not work, analytics cookies and advertising cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies are only switched on with your permission, and each group asks for its own.

2. The cookies we use

  • elos_consent (essential, 6 months): stores your choice about cookies.
  • selectedLanguage (essential, 30 days): remembers the language you chose.
  • Authentication session (essential, for the duration of the session): keeps you signed in to your account.
  • elos_origem_da_visita (kept in your browser, not in a cookie; deleted when you close the tab): where your visit came from, that is, the campaign, the site you arrived from and the first page you opened. It does not identify you and only reaches us with a form you send, so we know which campaign brought a sign-up or a booking.
  • _ga and _ga_* (analytics, up to 2 years): Google Analytics, pages viewed and where visits come from, with the IP address truncated.
  • ph_* (analytics, up to 1 year): PostHog, site usage — pages, clicks and navigation. No session recording.
  • _fbp and _fbc (advertising, 3 months): Meta Pixel. Tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that you visited the site and what you did there, for example asking to be told when we open or starting a booking.

3. Advertising

With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel to measure Elos ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show them to people who have visited the site. The Pixel never runs on pages with the details of a booking, and we do not send Meta your name, email or phone number. Meta handles what it receives under its own privacy policy. Without your permission, your browsing does not reach any advertising network.

4. How you control cookies

On your first visit a notice lets you accept or reject, and under "Customize" you choose each group. Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and only work if you allow them. You can change your mind at any time under "Cookie preferences", at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw a permission, what it switched on stops immediately and the cookies it left on our domain are deleted. Those Meta keeps on its own domain are deleted in Meta's settings or your browser's. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; without the essential ones, parts of the site stop working.
